The FJ Summit was a wonderful event again this year. We managed to stay so busy on the trail that we didn’t have time to update the site every day. Below is a breakdown of how the FJC Magazine team spent the event.
Wednesday, July 16th We met with several FJ owners from out of town in Manitou Springs for our annual convoy. After some quick introductions, we headed up to Woodland Park where we picked up one more FJ. It was then on towards Johnson’s Village via Wilkerson & Trout Creek Passes, the view coming into the Buena Vista area is just amazing.
We met up with quite a few FJ’s from the Denver convoy & we were 15 strong! It’s quite an impressive site watching that many trucks wind their way up & down Monarch Pass. After a quick lunch stop in Gunnisson, we were on the final leg of our trip. We arrived in Ouray at about 3:30, the largest convoy rolling into town. We honked, flashed & waved, the FJ Summit was finally here!
After we checked in to the Box Canyon Lodge & got registered, it was off to meet people. We met so many people I can barely keep track! We really appreciate all the kind words about FJC Magazine.
