Toyota Announces FJ Cruiser for Australia in 2011

Toyota Australia announced today that the FJ Cruiser will be available in Australia beginning in the first part of 2011. We're super excited that our beloved truck will have a home in one of the off road mecca's of the world.

FJC Magazine now on the iPhone & iPad

With the release of the iBooks app for the iPhone iOS 4 (and the update for the iPad) you can now very easily read FJC Magazine on either of those devices. Here's the 3 step process:

Download (or update) to the latest iBooks app on your device
Find & download the issue(s) you want to read on this website
When the download is done, Safari will popup an 'add to iBooks' button. Click it & you're all set!

If you want to load your entire collection to your device at once, you can do so through iTunes. Here's a tutorial.

FJ Cruiser Rated Number 1 Off Road Vehicle for the second year in a row

Consumer Reports has rated the FJ Cruiser as the best off road vehicle for the second year in a row. Unlike many (biased?) off road magazines that constantly rate other vehicles better for off road driving, CR uses the exact same test track for each vehicle. Details of the rating are locked behind a membership, but all vehicles rated can be found on the Consumer Reports website. It's also interesting to note that number 2 on the list is the Land Cruiser, and number 3 is the Tacoma TRD. Very cool indeed!

FJ Cruiser takes 2nd in the Ha'il Rally

Abdullah Bakhashab and Joseph Matar came took second place in their FJ Cruiser Proto in the Ha'il Rally, just behind Yazeed Al-Rajhi and French navigator Matthieu Baumel in their Mitsubishi Lancer.
